Terms & Conditions

Eligibility: High school students currently participating in a certified College Board AP or IB studio art program (i.e., during the 2017–2018 academic year) are invited to submit artworks for this exhibition. The student's participation in an AP or IB program will be verified. If participation cannot be verified, the student's submissions will be disqualified.
 
Submission requirements: Each student may submit digital images of up to 10 two-dimensional works of art or filmscompleted for an AP or IB studio art portfolio during the 2017–2018 academic year. The maximum physical size for each work is 24 x 36 inches. No three-dimensional work will be accepted. Students must submit their work between February 12 and May 11, 2018 (no later than 11:59 p.m. CDT, when the online system will close). There is no submission fee. A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of each submission.

Note, by submitting artwork for consideration, you grant the Frist Art Museum permission to use all submitted content in its promotional and educational efforts in support of this exhibition. This includes permission to release images and media files to the press for editorial review, include images and stills on the Frist's web and social media pages (at 72 ppi), promote and market the exhibition, include in exhibition-related print components such as the gallery guide, and other non-commerical uses.

*A film of up to 10 minutes in length may be submitted as one work. Digital copies of films should not exceed 25 MB in size. To submit larger video files, contact Rosemary Brunton at rbrunton@fristartmuseum.org.
